The AppleWorks 6 Documentation folder on the AppleWorks 6 CD contains electronic versions of the AppleWorks 6 installation and getting started manuals. If you are running Mac OS 8 or 9 and have trouble opening these electronic manuals by double-clicking their icons, you need to install the Acrobat Reader application. Follow these steps: 1 Double-click the Reader 4.05 Installer in the Install Acrobat Reader FIRST folder. 2 Click Continue. 3 If you wish, choose a different location from the Install Location pop-up menu. 4 Click Install. 5 When installation is complete, you can view either manual by double-clicking its icon. If you are running Mac OS X and have trouble opening these manuals by double-clicking their icons, you need to open them from within the Preview application. Follow these steps: 1 Open the Preview application located in the Applications folder. 2 Choose Open from the File menu. 3 In the Open dialog box, navigate to the manual you want to open.
