Wisconsin has a public school district accountability system to assess individual schools and entire school districts in several priority areas, including students' performance on state tests, graduation rates, and closing achievement gaps for specific groups of students.
The report is commonly referred to as the School Report Card. Each eligible school annually receives an "Overall Accountability Score" that places it in one of five rating categories, ranging from Significantly Exceeds Expectations to Fails to Meet Expectations. The 0-100 index is not "percent correct" but rather an overall score that is computed by weighting the various priority area sub-scores. School Report Cards are generated each fall for the previous year based on testing data from the previous year.
Important notes about the School District of Reedsburg report cards:
School report card data starts with the Forward Exam, which is given in the spring starting in 3rd grade. Our lower elementary schools (Pineview and Westside) did not have 3rd graders, and therefore do not receive a report card score. Their school report cards include demographic data only.
Due to COVID-19 and a lack of testing, no district or school report cards were generated for 2019-20 in Wisconsin.
