Ethan Horkan, 11th grade, Welding
I would like to nominate Ethan Horkan for Student of the Month in Welding. Ethan has done a fantastic job all semester for me in Welding. His effort toward finishing his required welds has been great! He has also finished some of his own welding projects in class and has helped out with larger class welding projects as well. His work ethic and quality of work is outstanding! Keep up the great work Ethan! ~Mr. Anliker

Makayla Mittelstaed, 10th grade, Civil War
Makayla Mittelsteadt is the student of the month for Civil War & Aftermath. Makayla quite literally brings her "A-game" every day, with a positive attitude and a work ethic that is off the charts. She genuinely cares about not only doing well in class, but also the class environment. In this latter regard, she has shown true leadership that has benefited the entire class. Dalton brightens my day the minute he walks in the classroom. He is kind, he works hard, is respectful, and always helps those around him. He's just so joyful and genuine that it makes me so thankful to have him in class this semester!!

Benjamin Lewerenz, 10th grade, Geometry
Benjamin just makes me smile. He rises up when there are challenges or challenging people in his day. He never complains, he works hard, he gives these little smiles to let me know he gets it and is doing a good job. He has a natural talent in math, and I'm excited to see where it takes him! I will miss having him in class next year and I'm so thankful I had him in class this semester! ~Ms. VandeZande

Alan brings joy and laughter to our class. He is funny, he is hard-working, he is a great classmate, and he really cares about his education.
