The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) is a rigorous, national assessment that measures the critical reading, mathematics, and writing skills for junior students and high achieving sophomores for higher education and careers after high school. In addition, students who take the PSAT/NMSQT are automatically screened for the National Merit® Scholarship Program; juniors usually meet the entry requirements.

- Location: This exam will NOT be offered at RAHS during the 2023-2024 school year.
- Cost: approximately $18
