The School District of Reedsburg's new Superintendent, Tom Burkhalter, has developed a 90-Day Entry Plan that lays out the goals and steps he will be taking as he begins his new role.
Mr. Burkhalter shares, "I am honored to serve as the next superintendent of the School District of Reedsburg. Having grown up in Union Center, Reedsburg was always the 'big city' where we did our shopping. My wife (Kim) and I, along with our three sons, Will (11), Owen (9), and Jake (5), are excited to become part of this wonderful community. I've spent my career focused on building strong schools through clear communication, community engagement, and student-centered leadership. As superintendent for Viroqua Area Schools for the past five years, I worked closely with staff and families, improved district communication, and ensured access to important community resources. I look forward to bringing that same commitment to collaboration and transparency to Reedsburg."
