Milk Break
The School District of Reedsburg participates in the Wisconsin Milk Day Program which provides free milk break milk for Elementary and Intermediate students, kindergarten through fifth grade. Please contact the Food Service Department for any questions on the program.
Payment Process
Food service payments may be made online or in-person in the Food Service Department, located at Pineview Elementary School.
Online payments
Online payments are made through eFunds.(To proceed, you will need a username, password, and family identification number. If you do not have this information, please contact your child's school secretary or Dawn Salmon in Food Services.) Once you are logged into eFund, click on the Fund Lunch tab on the left. Then click Make a Payment. A complete step-by-step eFunds guide is available to assist new users.
In-person payments
Cash or check deposits of at least $10 per student may be made at the main office in your child's school or in the Food Service Department, located at Pineview Elementary School. Please submit a deposit slip with each payment and allow one school day for the funds to be deposited into your family's account. Checks should be made out to Reedsburg Food Service.
Insufficient funds
Family accounts with low balances or insufficient funds will be notified via automatic phone calls, texts, or e-mails. These messages are sent when an account balance is less than $20 or less than $5, as well as when the balance falls below $0. If your child attempts to purchase a meal when an account does not have sufficient funds or falls below a $0 balance, this procedure will be followed:
1. Your child will be told that there is not enough money in the account.
2. Your child will be offered a peanut butter sandwich and milk. If he/she chooses this option, your food service account will not be charged.
3. This service will be offered for three days. If money still has not been added to the food service account after three days, your child will not be served.
If you have trouble paying for breakfast or lunch, please check out our free and reduced-price meal program. We encourage you to fill out an application, as you may qualify for this program.
