2025 ACT Plus Writing Test for Wisconsin Juniors
Class of 2026: The Wisconsin-mandated ACT Plus Writing test for juniors will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at RAHS. Please contact Ms. Ashley Johnson, RAHS Counselor and ACT Test Coordinator, if you have any questions or if you would like more information. RAHS students in grades 9, 10 and 12 will NOT have classes on the March 11th test date. NOTE: The testing schedule varies for students with accommodations. Absent juniors must complete make-up testing (date to be determined).
School Counselors will share important pre-test information with juniors at school, including test preparation tips, completing the pre-administration process and more. More information is shared below.
- Here is a link to the slideshow that will be presented to juniors during the January 8th meeting during Flex time: Juniors: Preparing for the ACT (PDF).
- Test pre-administration took place during FLEX periods on February 26-27. Students will be given the information below and encouraged to carefully complete this process prior to the ACT exam on March 11th.
- TEST DAY ON TUESDAY, MARCH 11: Juniors must arrive to RAHS by first hour at 8 a.m. and go directly to their assigned test locations, which will be posted at school. Most students will complete testing around 1:00 or 1:30 p.m.
- Students who are late or absent will not be permitted to test on this date and will need to complete makeup testing at a future designated date and time.
- Students must bring the following: their CHARGED school Chromebook, an approved calculator, and #2 pencils with erasers (not mechanical pencils). PRIOR TO TEST DATE, students should make sure that their Chromebooks are in good working order and have any problems or issues corrected BEFORE test day.
- Students must leave prohibited items at home or in their student lockers. Prohibited items will not be allowed in the test rooms.
- Students will be provided with a mid-morning snack, but school lunch will not be served on test day.
- District buses will operate the usual schedule for juniors on test day. Students who do not have transportation home after testing will need to wait quietly in the Commons until the end of the day for their school bus.
- Students who are testing with accommodations may have an alternate testing schedule and may be offered a school-made bagged lunch on test day. Students with an IEP or testing accommodations must contact their case managers, Ms. Hilary Masica, or Sharon Schafer with any questions or concerns.
