RAHS Students: If you are interested in participating in ECCP/SCN Concurrent College Courses (formerly known as Youth Options), you MUST meet with Ms. Ashley Johnson and submit a completed application to the School Counseling Office by the strictly-enforced deadlines.

• The application deadline for participation in Fall 2024 was March 1, 2024 before the end of the school day.
• The application deadline for participation in Spring 2025 was October 1, 2024 before the end of the school day.
• The application deadline for participation in Fall 2025 is Friday, February 28, 2025 before the end of the school day.
  • Ms. Johnson held an informational meeting during Flex on Wednesday, January 29th for students wishing to participate in this optional program.

Concurrent College Courses are an opportunity for students currently enrolled in a Wisconsin public high school to attend a Wisconsin post-secondary institution for the purpose of taking one or more courses for high school and college credit. There is no limit on the number of credits or courses a student can take through this program each semester. Students must complete a separate application process; strict application deadlines apply. Before applying, students are encouraged to view the websites below and meet with Ms. Ashley Johnson, School Counselor, to confirm eligibility and requirements.   • UW System Early College Credit Program
    • Application: Early College Credit Program (University of Wisconsin Colleges) - revised 2/5/2018
    • UW-Platteville Early College Credit Program information (including Baraboo campus): This program is available to students in grades 9-12 with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Wisconsin Technical College System Start College Now (SCN) Program
    • Application: Start College Now (Wisconsin Technical College System)
    • Madison Area Technical College Start College Now Program Information: This program is available to students in grades 11-12.

To maintain eligibility for this program, all students must demonstrate passing grades and attend regularly scheduled courses.  Reedsburg Area High School staff reserves the right to disqualify students who were approved due to their no longer meeting graduation requirements or attendance requirements (i.e., the student is not habitually truant according to our RSD guidelines).
