In late October through mid-December, RAHS counselors meet with tenth-grade students and their parents and/or guardians for an individual Academic Career Planning conference as part of the State of Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Model. The purpose of the conference is to link each student's academics to future education and career goals. Part of the planning process involves a review of the student's transcript, graduation requirements, course selection, college admission requirements and specific major requirements. Each conference lasts 45-60 minutes in the RAHS Counseling Office and is typically scheduled during the school day. Skylert and mailed invitations to schedule appointments are sent to students and families in mid-October.
